CTERA is an Israeli-headquartered solution provider and is known as a leader in edge-to-cloud file services, powering millions of corporate users. CTERA delivers a cloud-native global file system that enables enterprises to gain full control of their data environment for optimal edge performance, granular security, data insight, and governance.

CTERA’s client, The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), is an executive branch department of the Federal government of the United States charged with providing lifelong healthcare services to eligible military veterans. Modern healthcare generates around 30% of the world’s data volume. Given the size of its operation, the VA needed to build a new cloud infrastructure that could effectively scale to 100s of petabytes to support the current and future needs of the organization, with centralized data management, the ability to collaborate with data located in each location and the cloud safe.

 

Challenge

Though a well-known and esteemed solution provider, CTERA needed help growing its presence in the government sector. Smart Connections PR has worked to raise visibility, create momentum and visibility for the company in this niche marketplace, along with the trade media.

The goal has been to build new relationships with government-focused media and while developing a thought leadership campaign to showcase expertise in the sector.
